5 STAND SPORTING CLAYS TEAM SELECTION CRITERIA

2008 Elimination events will be conducted at WAGC, Busselton, Collie & Port Hedland Clay Target Clubs, followed by the State Title event at Busselton . A team of three (3) members will be selected from these events to compete at the 2008 National 5 Stand Titles.

Each elimination shoot will consist of 100 targets with points awarded to the top twenty (20) competitors. Twenty (20) points will be allocated to first place then graded down to 1 point for 20 th place.

To be eligible for team selection shooters must be a registered club member of the WA Clay Target Association Inc, compete at any one (1) elimination event and then must shoot the Sporting Clays State Title to be selected for the State Team.

Results of each elimination shoot to be immediately forwarded to the Sporting Clays Sub Committee. Eliminations may be shot at more than one (1) venue with the highest points to count towards their final score.

The elimination scores (1 Qualifier and State Title scores) will decide the State Team placing's 1st through to 6th position as there will be 1st , 2nd & 3rd place plus reserves.

In the event of a tie in scores a shoot off will be held consisting of 25 targets to determine placing's. If a tie in score remains a further 10 targets over 2 stands will then be shot, if a resolution still cannot be obtained then a first miss and our shoot off will be held.

An MQS of 150/200 with combined scores of the elimination and State Title shoots will be adhered to.
